Jacob Banks - Kids on the Corner

Jheeeeez upcoming grimeyy singer Jacob Banks blesses P110 with his beautiful vocals. A veteran to the P110 Unplugged series, Banks has already graced it 4 times, including his 'R&B Compiltation' (If you haven't seen it, what you doing with your life bro?) in which he performed an acoustic set of various well known songs in his own brilliant way, with tracks including Kanye West's ''Gold Digger'' and Beyonce's ''Halo''.

In this P110 Unplugged the artist performs his original track "Kids In The Corner" which goes inn! This track really demonstrates Jacob's amazing soft vocals behind a beautiful guitar acoustic played by the guy himself (multi-talented much?). This is a truly talented artist and
like a mature wine (No daggering) Jacob just gets better and better with time.

Boogie & Vex - Feds & Funerals

Boogie and Vex collaborate on the meaningful 'Feds & Funerals'. The video sees the two artist spitting honest bars about the area they were raised inbetween the catchy and sadly truthal chorus ''In the hood its nothing but feds and funerals, most men are locked or we're going to there funeral''. This is a collaboration that works on many levels, with both artists going innn on their respective verses. These are definitely two artist's who are going to be storming the scene very soon. Check it out!

T.K. - In For The Kill

Up and coming artist T.K. goes in with this grimeyy refix of La Roux's hit 'In For The Kill'. In this T.K. spits firee on what separates him from a lot of other artists in the scene right now, and it is certainly evident within his 'arrd bars "while your dying to survive, I live to die". You may also remember the instrumental from the maaadddd 'Goin' In 4 The Kill' with Benny Banks, G-Money, Squeekz etc. We love that T.K. does what many artists don't nowadays, he spits with a passion. We can't wait for what he brings out next. Check it out!

WHAT'S THE MIXTAPE SAYING?: Mynature - The Beginning

Jheeez! 'Ere at Cor' Grimey we love a grimeyy refix, so imagine how overly excited we were when the King of Grimeyy Refixes, Mynature, returned with his highly anticipated mixtape 'The Beginning'.

The 15 track mixtape see's Mynature remixing many of our favourite songs (and sometimes making them better). With one original track 'We Gon Get This Money' Mynature shows he isn't just an artist who remixes others songs. Showing his versatility, Mynature even spits over P!nk's 'Family Portrait' with a moral message (''You need to stop shottin, No I Can't, Get yourself a real job, bredrin No I Can't''), I mean what rapper do you know that can jump on a P!nk song?!

With not a collaboration in sight, Mynature is an artist all on his own. No gimmicks, singers or features are needed to show Mynature has talent. Our favourites off the mixtape (since we can't choose them all) are She Will Remix, Sure Thing Remix, Calm Remix, Tell Me What You Want Remix and last but not least his Marvin Gaye And Chardonnay Remix.

So, what is the Mixtape saying? Three simple words. Download it now.

Shystie - Boyz

Shystie is back yet again. The female Grime veteran dishes up yet another banger with 'Boyz'. The rapper/actress shows us why she's still a force to be reckoned with her sickk lyricism and attitude fuelled bars, conveying her opinions on the opposite sex behind a grimeyy instrumental that will get any Grime fan gassed.

Ten Dixon - Camouflage

Jheeeez! One half of rap duo Illstarz, Ten Dixon shows he can hold his own with his first solo video 'Camouflage'. With some manic bars over a mad instrumental this hyyyppeeeed tune is one to get any grime fan gassed. Watch out for his upcoming mixtape 'Sabotage' due out early 2012, Ten Dixon is a name to remember.

GRIMEY REFIX: Vex - Juicy

Upcoming artist Vex does his grimeyy take on hip hop anthem 'Juicy' by The Notorious B.I.G and it goes innn! The south London artist gives his own twist to the track with a unique flow and sick lyricism while still paying homage to the legendary track. Vex is definitely an artist to watch out for and we look forward to seeing what he will go on to release.

Merky Ace - Natural Ability

Soundophiles bring out there next 'Natural Ability', this time featuring Merky Ace. The upcoming MC, with an EP due out December 12th entitled 'Catch Up' spits like he does it in his sleep. Showcasing a sick lyricism with a mad flow and 'ardd bars this definitely a grimeyyy spittin' session from an Grime artist you need to keep a look out for, Cor' Grimey we can't wait for this EP!

Ice Kid - Marijuana

Who knew Ice Kid could sing?! Ice 'Comeback' Kid absolutely murrrddeerrsss it with 'Marijuana'. The track, about Marijuana if you didn't guess (DPMO) has a nice laidback vibe complimented perfectly by Ice Kid's vocals (singing and barring). A song to be replayed and replayed, It's definitely got a hold on us.

Discarda - Rhyme On

Discarda returns with 'Rhyme On' to very mixed views. 'Ere at Cor' Grimey we love anything grimeeyyy and this is most definitely that. Discarda puts the aggression and passion back into grime, something alot of artists are missing. No matter what anyone else says we think its 'aaarrddddd.

Download Discarda's latest mixtape 'Lee McNaughts Presents Discarda' here at: http://www.mediafire.com/?y3wv76dxbmfbm7q

Kasst - Street Starz Spotlight

Jheeez! 14 year old grime MC Kasst goes innn with his latest freestyle for Street Starz 'spotlight'. How is a 14 year old gonna have a better flow and bars than MC's twice his age?! Kasst first showed his grimeyy potential with 'You Should Know' in March of this year and has been going 'aardd ever since. Having already released a mixtape and various music videos, Kasst is one to watch, and we for one can't wait for what he's gonna do next.

Grimeyy TV: Daniel's Day (Short Film)

The short story, filmed by Blue Mirror Visions (known for filming GD Musik's videos for those who don't know) follows the story of Daniel and a close friend, with a big twist at the end. Its a refreshing change to see something like this. Here is an actual story acted out well by the two main actors where the script is fomulated only to what the characters need to say. End of the day it is always great to see up and coming films productions like this and we definitely hope there's more to come, this is very promising.

Troy feat. Mdot-E - Say Bye Bye

RD may have split up, but no need to fear! Troy is still here. (see what we did there? No? ok moving on) The ex Ruff Diamond shows us she can go 'aardd all on her own with 'Say Bye Bye'. M Dot E also blesses the track with a few bars. With a shortage of UK R'n'B singers, Troy has definitely found a gap in the market and we're looking forward for what the now solo artist does next. We still miss RD though.

Jme - GUN

Seriouss! Boy Better Know member and Grime pioneer Jme returns with his latest track 'GUN' which is an absolute BANGER! Jme once again brings out a track that can get anybody gassed just by the bars alone "If anyone tries it with me I'll pie them in the gums". Alongside a sick flow Jme's back like he never left. Wannabe grime MC's please do the right thing and leave now.

Joey Gutta Feat. Go Hard Ent. - Detanator Riddim

Jheez! Joey Gutta and the members of Go Hard Ent.  do just that, they go 'aarrrdd with 'Detanator Riddim'. Go Hard Ent. consisting of Haze P, Inkz, Riques and Matik Mikes slaayy the riddim with Joey Gutta ending the song the same way Haze P opened it, murderation!

Ice - Warm Up Sessions

After a quiet 2 years Ice makes a momentous return to the grime scene with his 'arrd Warm Up Session for SB.TV. The West London MC spits fire over this grimeyy instrumental showcasing he is still as hard as he was back in the day (if not better). So it's official, and in his words "I'm back at it, like a crack addict". Jheez! Look out for his E.P. 'Jekyll & Hyde' coming out soon.

Illstarz - Planet Express

South East London rap duo Illstarz return with 'Planet Express'. The duo, Jamkilla and Ten Dixon spit bars on the subject we all know about - getting high. The video has a slight UK Kid Cudi feel to it (probably all that talk of getting high) and brings something abit different to the grime table. Also a big shout out to PDTV for the hiiggghhh filming and editing.

Saturday 26 November 2011

Supah Litey (Redemer) - Make It

Super Litey goes deep with 'Make It'. The artist goes in with some insightful lyrics on the theme of trying to make it out of the streets "Good friends are hard to find so watch where your heart resides" add in a deep and catchy chorus "I'm sitting here wondering if I'm ever gonna make it here alive" and you will see just why Super Litey ticks all the boxes. We'll definitely be looking out for him in the future.

Midge - Definition

Upcoming lyricist Midge gives us a 'definition' (see what we did there?) of why he's a rapper to watch out for. With a combination of ardd bars and a mad flow the South London artist completely destroys the track calling out all rappers ''who thought they were the sickest but turned out to be the sh*test''. Midge is 'definitely' (yes, we did it again.) an artist to look out for and we're looking forward to seeing what he brings out in the future.

Young Mikes - Day 2

Young Mikes returns with the highly anticipated Day 2 of his 'Real Life Diary' series. In Day 1 we saw how Mikes was nearly victim of a 'set-up chick'.  With the beef carrying on into Day 2, Mikes finds himself in yet another life threatning situation...

Young Mikes is going from strength to strength with the release of Day 2 maintaining his sick lyricism and dark bars from his previous chapter. This is definitely an artist we're looking forward to seeing more from and we can't help but anticipate his next chapter. Day 3 come NOW!

Dee Jillz - Say What I Want

Dee Jillz goes innn with 'Say What I Want'. The 15 year old South London rapper proves 'age ain't nothing but a number' (No Aaliyah) showcasing his manic flow and aggressive bars over the hyped instrumental. Also a big shout out to Melodi for filming and editing the video, another name to watch out for. With an EP due out in January, Dee Jillz isn't going anywhere.

Friday 25 November 2011

GRIMEY REFIX: RD - Otis

Daammmnn why did these girls split up?! RD's grimeyy take on 'Otis' goess 'ardd, perhaps up there with Krept and Konan's take on the (in our view) overhyped original. With Chronz and Troy delivering 'aardd bars throughout and Marika's soft vocals cushioning them, this is Grimeyy Refix to be replayed over and over again. We'll miss you, RD.

GRIMEY REFIX: Cascade - Free Spirit

Cascade returns with his grimeyy version of Drake and Rick Ross' big tune 'Free Spirit' (You know ''tat my fuckin name on you so I know its real'' got you GASSED). His wavey flow and heavy bars make a winning combination showing UK artists can go just as hard as their US couterparts.

Prez - Warm Up Sessions

Upcoming MC Prez blesses SBTV with a Warm Up Session. The rapper/producer demonstrates just why he's one to watch in the Grime scene. With his 'arrdd lyricism and a series of memorable bars "I f***** 'April', then I 'March'ed out, they said why 'July' I say I don't" all we can say is Jheez! We'll be expecting a F64 from this artist very soon.

Creepa, Depz, C.O - Gunshot Riddim

Creepa, Depz and C.O bring out a video for their 'arrdd Gunshot Riddim. Filmed and edited by RC.TV, Gunshot Riddim is a tune to get any grime fan GASSED. With a sly Johnny Gunz feel to it, this is definitely one for the people who want a song to go maaddd to.

Blizzard - F64 [S3.EP18]

After spitting firee in his Warm Up Session, Manchester artist Blizzard is welcomed back to SB.TV for an F64, and once again goes innn! Blizzard tears up the instrumental with his sick flow and 'ard bars, while also spitting in español (Spanish for those who don't know, and if you dont, please get to know!) at the end of it. If that isn't talent, we don't know what is.

Grimeyy TV: The Only Way Is StooShe - Episode 2

Courtney, Karis and Alexandra return with the highly anticipated second episode of  'The Only Way Is Stooshe'. In this episode we get more fun, more singing, more swearing and more overall good times. Can we have episode 3 now please?

Florence + The Machine - Take Care (Drake cover) Radio 1 Live Lounge

Cor' Grimey! Florence brings her haunting touch to Drake and Rihanna's banger 'Take Care'. Fresh from the release of her sophomore album 'Ceremonials' and that amazing X Factor performance, the UK songstress is on firree with this incredible cover. Welch's superior vocals accompanied with a mix of upbeat rhymes and a vivid chorus really makes the song her own. We look forward to seeing more amazing covers very soon.

Thursday 24 November 2011

G Dot M's Freestyle Firee!

Upcoming artist G Dot M has now released his latest grimeyy freestyle demonstrating yet again why he's one to watch in the Grime scene. The South London artist tears up the instrumental produced by Grime veteran Dot Rotten with his mad flow and 'ard bars freestyling for 4 minutes straight (jheez!). This is sure to get any grime fan GASSED!.

Wretch 32 ft Etta Bond - Forgiveness (acoustic)

If you don't know get to knoww! Wretch 32 has been storming the scene as of recently with the release of his latest album 'Black and White' which is a BANGER! (I'm sure you don't need us to tell you that) Check out the acoustic version of our favourite track from the album 'Forgiveness' featuring our spotlight singer Etta Bond on Mr Holy Moly TV.

We love the deep meaning the track conveys and its message of being successful while trying to do right by everyone, and then theres the dark instrumental which sets the scene for the emotional lyrics to shine through. The track's even more deeper in this acoustic version as the subtle acoustic feel really makes way for Wretch's lyrics and Etta Bond's beautiful voice to come into light.  This track is a perfect example of why Wretch 32 is taking over the scene and why Etta Bond is overly due to make waves in the music scene very soon (if she hasn't already, that is).

Tinie Tempah ft. Wretch 32 & J. Cole - Like It Or Love It

Jheeeeeez! Three of the biggest rappers around collab on one track. Tinie, Wretch and J.Cole. All lyrical geniuses in their own right. Do we really need to say more?  'Like It Or Love It' comes from Tinie's upcoming mixtape 'Happy Birthday', a little taster before he releases his second album, which he is working on now. You know when your overly excited and you just can't wait? Ahh yeahhh (Wretch 32 voice).

Download the track here at:

Ragoe ft. Pester - Crack Freestyle

Fresh from his Dumpz diss 'Where Da Proof At' upcoming lyricist Ragoe hits us with another banger, this time in a freestyle with Pester. The two South London artists spit fire over the track with Ragoe's sick lyricism and Pester finishing it off nicely. With the track being under two minutes, the freestyle is quite short but the 'aarrddd instrumental and bars keeps us pressing the repeat button.

Wednesday 23 November 2011

Behind Barz:Take 2 - DVS Freestyle

Fresh from the release of his latest Mixtape, ''One In A Billion'', DVS treats us to a meaningful freestyle via Link Up TV as part of the 'Behind Barz' series. The 6 minute freestlyle see's the South London rapper spitting bars over Nas' ''We Will Survive'' and then going onto Drakes ''Headlines'' instrumental. DVS is on firree!

WHAT'S THE E.P. SAYING?: No Lay - Drop Me Out

With her forthcoming album in production female lyricist, singer, dancer and songwriter No Lay has now released her latest EP 'Drop Me Out' and round 'ere at Cor' Grimey we're keeping it straight to the point by saying it's 'ARD!

The London fem'cee goes inn throughout her 6 track EP showcasing why she's one of the best in the Grime scene; with the artist spitting fire behind the grimeyy 'Gangster' instrumental by Zdot which will get any Grime fan gassed from her mad lyricism.

The EP goes deep with the track 'Is It So Hard' where the artist collaborates with underground rapper Joe Black. The track see's both artists spitting deep bars about making it big in the music scene. The collaboration is definitely one of our favourites on the EP, and also shows us just how versatile No Lay is. Joe Black complements the track nicely, showing everyone just why he's a big upcoming artist.

There's also a teaser of Nolay's album in the track 'Superbad Chick' which has an 'ard instrumental (produced by Soun'wave) and tells us just what we knew before: this album is gonna be 'aarrrdddd!

So what is the EP saying? All we can say is that it's 'ardd and definitely worth the listen. Only negative is that it ends too soon but with the quality of these tracks, we know we're gonna have her upcoming album on repeat for a looooong time.

Pepstar - Role Reversal

Pepstar takes Grime to a different perspective in 'Role Reversal'. Well known for his smart concepts, (if you haven't seen it check out 'Russian Roulette' by the artist aswell) Pepstar goes inn with another one which we can only describe as genius. The track has the East London rapper/producer take a look at different 'roles' (see the link?) in society such as the rich, the poor and the police and spit some hard hitting bars relating to each one but from their point of view.

What makes Pepstar stand out in the UK music scene is that he spits bars with a meaning that can make you think and does it with a sickk lyricism as he does here leaving us to think 'if the shoe was on the other foot would you stop and take a second look? Pepstar is definitely a talented artist who's sure to be storming the scene very soon.

Download Pepstar's latest mixtape 'No Flyzone' here at: http://www.mediafire.com/?x7skgbnmo7esg9o

James Gill feat.Tristan Henry - Flyin' Out My Gates

Jheeeez. Why does his video have under 2,000 views?! (DPMO fam). Anyways moving on, James Gill, previously known as Scam, brings British hip-hop back to the forefront with 'Flyin' Out My Gates'. With Tristian Henry on the chorus James shows he has the flow and content to compete with any other UK (or even US) rappers.

With two mixtapes under his belt (''The Street Fraud'' and most recently''The Death Of The Ego'') and an upcoming album entitled ''Purpose Is The Process'' James Gill is most definitely one to watch.

Relley.C - Fly

Relly. C brings back that old school bump 'n' grind music with new song 'Fly'. Mixing soulful singing with a cheeky hint of her birmingham accent now and again, Relly. C goes down a musical route normally left untouched by UK artists. Listen when in a laidback mood.

Monday 21 November 2011

RIO feat. Misha B & Blizzard - The Naked Truth

RIO gives us a stripped down version of 'The Naked Truth' featuring Misha B (yep, the one from X Factor) and composed and produced by Blizzard. The emotional song shows a vulnerable side to RIO, with Misha giving effortless heartfelt vocals as usual. This is what you call music with meaning, something much less prominent in UK music nowadays.

TMTV - Shanice Freestyle

Cor' Grimey this girl can sing! Upcoming singer Shanice blesses TMTV with her mature vocals. With talent like hers, she needs to get in a recording booth and bring out some tracks. We're definitely gonna be looking out for the name 'Shanice' from now on.

Jareth feat. Lioness - Pathway

Who said there's no authenticity in the game? Step forward Jareth. The North London singer first caught our eye with her funky live rendition of 'Heartache' in a London cab, and now she's joined forces with one of the biggest female MC's in the game to give us 'Pathway'.With so many manufactured pop acts being thrown at us, its refreshing to see someone like Jareth coming with their own persona. Here is someone who does what they want to do, how they want to do it, in the way they feel comfortable. We'll drink to that.

Rival feat. Lioness - Plan A

Upcoming artist Rival has joined forces with female Grime veteran Lioness in Grimeyy 'Plan A' which is a definite BANGER! 'Plan A' has the two artists spitting fire back and forth with a tense backstory of planning and attempting a robbery which is different concept that reminds us of Bashy, Wretch 32 and Scorcher's hit 'Ransom'.

Rival demonstrates his sickk flow showing he is one to watch in the Grime scene and Lioness slays another track (as usual) with her ardd bars. Also shout out to Kiss Radio DJ Logan Sama with the narration which only adds to the style of the track. End of the day 'Plan A' is the comeback of a unique Grime style which is definitely needed to be seen more in the UK music scene. Check it out.

GRIMEY REFIX: Mynature - She Will

And Mynature smashes it yet again. As part of his #MYNIMONDAY series, Mynature releases his fifth grimeyy refix. Taking on Lil Wayne and Drake's hit 'She Will' he doesn't disappoint (as usual). Mynature really is an artist to watch.

Scratchy feat. Discarda - Dont Wanna

Jheeeez, Grime is still alive and kicking! Scratchy and Discarda go 'arrdd with there new tune 'Dont Wanna'. Want it on your blackberry like now? Then your in you're in luck, Scratchy & Discarda have also released a free download of the song, its like a early grimeyy christmas present.

Get your free download of 'Dont Wanna' here: http://www.mediafire.com/?qe6pgxxcntgq64u

Subzero - For Those Who Don't Know

Subzero smashes it with his newest video 'For Those Who Don't Know'. The grime MC has been pretty quiet recently, but with the release of this video we hope there is much more to come. And if you don't know about Subzero (where you been bro?) GET TO KNOW.

Sunday 20 November 2011

Abby Power ft Courtney Bennett - See Me Fall

Two massively talented upcoming artists on one track. What more could you want? Rapper/ Singer Courtney Bennett brings out her singing side on the chorus with Abby Power delivering the 'aardd bars throughout. These are two girls we're definitely gonna keep our eyes on.

TOP 5 SELECTED: Five Artists To Look Out For

'Ere at Cor' Grimey we love to see upcoming grimeyy artists, especially when they bring there own flavour to there songs. Top 5 Selected is all about celebrating 5 of these MC's, who we believe can go very far in the game.

Novelist
14 year old grime MC Novelist may not be as 'experienced' as some of his fellow artists but don't let the age fool you. As Aaliyah once said 'Age ain't nothing but a number' and this is definitely the case with Novelist. With various freestyles, an EP and a considerable fan base, Novelist is already ahead of some artists twice his age. His 8 track EP 'Lights On Me' released 10th September shows just why we think he will go far, his flow and bars compliment one another, and with the right production will elevate him to higher grimeyy success.

Download Novelist - Lights On Me EP here at: http://www.zaskia.co.uk/music/novelist-lights-on-me-e-p--2

Queen T
Queen T, or Big Tugz as she is also known is a name you need to remember. Breaking through with the hard-hitting 'Troubled Girl' (''she's tired of the beating, sick of being scared, crying out for help but nobody cares'') in May of last year, Tugz proved she was a lyrical force to be reckoned with. She proved this further with 'Cat Scan' stating ''soon enough i'll take over this game, see I wanna get inside your brain like a cat scan''. Currently being promoted by Marcus Narsty and getting played on Radio 1, Rinse FM and many other radio stations, she is also working on new material which we can't wait to hear. If she carries on as she's going she'll definitely be taking over the game very soon.

Bartoven
BARTO! Bartoven, most notably known for his song 'Lust Or Love' is definitely one to watch. His 7-track 'I Am Not Road' EP released in October is a must download/ listen. If you don't have time to listen to the whole EP (whats wrong with you?!) at least take 3 minutes and 24 seconds out of your busy lives to check out 'Gladys'; Bartoven's take on 'Otis' and I'm sure you will be downloading his EP. If 'Gladys' is anything to go by, this is a seriously talented guy and we can't wait to see what he brings out next.

Download Bartoven - I Am Not Road EP here: http://www.mediafire.com/?72y5jy59039tsie

Odotsheaman
A man of many talents, Odotsheaman is doing ALORT this year. With a heavy workrate, well edited videos, mad flow and bars, Odot seems to have everything needed to blow up in the UK music scene. The 18 year old rapper/video editor/cameraman/photographer (we told you he was a man of many talents) has been bringing out many videos of late: remixes, collaborations with artists such as C-Mills and even prank calls (yep, check the youtube account). All we have to say is keep your eyes peeled with Odotsheaman, with his latest mixtape in production there are very exciting times to come.

Download Odotsheaman - Promotional Use Only Volume 1 here:

Mynature
King of the Grimeyy remixes, Mynature is a big threat to any contenders right now. Having remixed 'Marvin and Chardonnay', 'Off The Books', 'Work Out' and 'Niggas in Paris' Mynature has KILLED every one and always leaves up wanting more. With his mixtape 'The Beggining' due for release on November 28th, we can't help but count down the seconds. This is an artist you don't want to forget.

Lady Leshurr - F64 [S3.EP17]

Jheeez, she's done it again! Yep, Lady Leshurr drops ANOTHER F64, this is her 3rd to date (is that a record?!) and goes just as 'aarrd as usual. The hype from 'Lego' and now this is immense!  Keep coming with them bangers Leshurr, thats all we ask.

Saturday 19 November 2011

Capo - Believe in Make Believe

South London artist Capo spits firee over Wiz Khalifa's hit song 'Believe in Make Believe' instrumental. The OPB member really goes in with some deep and personal bars about his rise into the UK music scene, his experiences on the road and gaining success through some truth written lyrics  "All I know, you get money they get mad at you". Capo is definitely one to watch in the future so make so you watch out for his next mixtape called 'My Pain' next year.

But if you can't wait that long check out Capo and his collective's mixtape 'OPB presents Say Nizzy Vol. 2' which you can download right here at: http://www.ukrapmusic.com/mixtapes-downloads?download=387%3Aopb-say-nizzy-volume-2

Grimeyy TV: The Only Way Is Stooshe

Everyones favourite grimeyyy girlband Stooshe unveil there newest project; a web series called 'The Only Way Is Stooshe' documenting there chaotic lives with episode 1 showing highlights mainly from there time at the Wireless festival. It features a few cameo's from artists including Adele and Bruno Mars but mainly just highlights there crazy ways (''Lets get naked! Lets Go''). With episodes due to be released fortnightly, be sure to look out for The Only Way Is Stooshe, it looks set to be a must-watch.

Grimeyy TV: The Boarding School Bomber

Adam Deacon is well known for being in films such as in Kidult'hood', Adult'hood' and Anuva'hood'. But now the 28 year old actor has moved out of the 'hood' (See the link?) to star in dark BBC Three drama 'The Boarding School Bomber'.

The one hour drama revolves around Andrew Ibrahim (Deacon), a middle class schoolboy and his dramatic turn to terrorism in becoming a suicide bomber. This will definitely be one of Deacon's more serious roles in his career and is NOT to be missed. Check out a teaser trailer of the drama which really showcases Deacon's step into a more serious role.

The Boarding School Bomber airs Monday 21st November at 9pm

Bigz - Close My Eyes Forever feat. Simon Barnard

After his appearance on this years BET Hip Hop Awards UK Cypher Bigz is storming the scene right now with his latest mixtape 'Quantum Leap' which is a definite BANGER. Check out a track from his mixtape called 'Close My Eyes Forever' featuring Simon Barnard.

In this Bigz really shows why he's the one to watch in the UK music scene with his 'ardd flow and lyricism. Shout out to Simon Barnard for the chorus which gives a deep undertone to the track. Also watch out for Bigz dougie in the video it's sick (in the good way of course). Check it!

SINGER SPOTLIGHT: Etta Bond

Although her name may be intrinsically linked with Wretch 32's 'Forgiveness' this woman is far from just a guest singer to a rapper. The soulful singer, who was the first artist signed to Labrinth's recording label 'Odd Child' earlier this year, is set for big things.

Also known for her underground smash 'Ask Me To Stay' Etta's voice is a perfect mix of raw emotion and soulfulness which can sound just as amazing on an electro beat as in an acoustic set. This is proven with Etta's acoustic version of 'Ask Me To Stay' for Dropout Live

Etta possesses something most 'artists' today don't. She can actually sing, and in fact sometimes sounds better live than on her tracks (have you heard her live rendition of 'Forgiveness'? Jheez). And thats why we're so excited about her, she has the voice, the swag, AND her musical bestie is Labrinth. Where can she go wrong? So keep your eyes and ears peeled on Etta, she's going places.

Top Boy Firee! - Kano, Sway, Scorcher and Asher D

To celebrate the commission of the second series of dark, gritty, urban drama "Top Boy" which featured an array of artists from the grime scene check out the drama's stars Sway, Scorcher, Kano and Asher D drop bars for Soul Culture's newest series Prose and Percussion. Everyone goes inn on there parts with Sway's 'aardd wordplay,Scorcher's sick lyricism and Kano making his comeback into the scene with skill. It is especially great to see Asher D (former member of So Solid Crew) spit firee on his part showing that he's still 'ard in Grime. Also shout out to Pauli the PSM for his sick drum-work in this grimeyy session. Check it out and watch out for Top Boy Series 2 next year.

Lady Leshurr- Lego

'These other girls are trash let me go get a bin' Friggin' L! Can Lady Leshurr get any 'arrdder?? From the beat to the dancing everything about this video is ON POINT. This is the year Lady Leshurr has shown everyone she means business. One of the best MC's around, male or female, she's killing the game and we're sure will continue to do so. So make sure you keep a lookout for the Brummy fem'cee Friggin' L!

Stormin MC- Dark Night

Check out Stormin MC'S catchy new song Dark Night. We haven't heard much of Stormin MC here at Cor' Grimey but after this video we're definately fans.

Mike GLC - Whole Life Pt.1

Severely underrated rapper Mike GLC drops his latest track called "Whole Life Pt. 1" and it's definitely one of the deeper tracks in the grime scene at the moment. Whole Life Part 1 has the London based artist tells us his "whole life" with some deep and personal lyrics of memories from his past to present touching on how life is on the streets and his family life behind a nice slow instrumental. Mike GLC is definitely a real artist so look out for part two of his deep bars very soon.

Small People- Yung Meth

Young Meth goes deep for 'Small People'. The beautifully laid back instrumental and stunning visuals make a winning team with Meth's 'real' bars. Shout out to JStar Entertainment for the amazing video edit, they're definately a channel to keep your eyes on. Also check out the free mixtape download link in the info section. If the mixtape is on the same callibre as this song it will definately be on repeat.

Leave It- Lethal B feat. Fire Camp & JME

LEAVE IT YEAH! You know them songs that make you want to drop everything and skank? Well this is one of them. Lethal B brings another 'Pow!' with Leave It, while JME spits his bars like 'Blam!'. You can't leave out Fire Camp though, 'cos you know if Fire Camp's on a tune its gonna be straight fire. Griimmeeeeyyyyy.

IconFiveStar- Tupacs Back

Another day, another Griimmeeyyy refix. Odotsheaman collaborates with Icon, Deviate, NickNotez and KS to bring the British touch to Meek Mill and Rick Ross' anthem 'Tupac's back'. A big shout out to NickNotes who's flow and bars go 'aarrddd on the beat, he's definately one to watch. Every artist does there ting on the track, and all show promising potential. The only negative? Its over too soon.

Follow Fashion- XO Man feat. Mikill Pane, Master Shortie & Sincere

Jheeez! Check out the latest offering from XO Man, with a collaboration with Mikill Pane, Master Shortie & Sincere. Every rapper goes 'arrd with their lyrical offering, but props have to go to Mikill Pane 'and your girlfriends all hate my style that explains why they're undressing me'. Each rapper brings there own style to the track, and we'll definately be checking what XO Man and Mikill Pane in particular are bringing out in the future. this is definately gonna be on repeat for a loong time.

Ghetts and Giggs - No Comment

Grime pioneer Ghetts is maintaining his comeback with him now working on a mixtape with established US producer DJ Whoo Kid which is definitely going to be a BANGER. After recently releasing his mixtape "Ghetts In The Gang" it is clear that Ghetts is upping the levels. Check out his sneak peak track from his anticipated mixtape called "No Comment" produced by DJ Whoo Kid  and featuring fellow grime veteran Giggs who has also recently released his latest mixtape "Every Angle Friday"  and has also previously worked with the US producer as well. Check it out.

GRIMEY REFIX: Marvin Gaye And Chardonnay

Check out upcoming MC, Mynature. After 'refixing' songs such as J.Cole's 'Work Out' or 'Niggas In Paris' off of Watch The Throne, Mynature now sets his sights on Big Sean's 'Marvin Gaye and Chardonnay '. This is most definately a Grriimmeeey refix, and with his mixtape 'The Beginning' set to be released on November 28th, we expect to be seeing a lot more of Mynature.

No Lay Goes Acoustic- ''Natural Ability''

Cor' Grimey! No Lay comes 'ard with her newest freestyle for Soundophile's project entitled ''Natural Ability'' and reminds us why she's been going 'arrdd in the game for so many years. With her next mixtape ''Drop Me Out'' set to be released November 21st, we've got a lot to look forward to.

WHAT'S THE MIXTAPE SAYING?: DVS - One In A Billion

Here at Cor' Grimey we like to keep it fresh (and not in the Fresh of the Boat way) so for our newest feature we're going to be looking at some of the 'arrdest mixtapes on the scene right now.

PDC member DVS has now released his latest mixtape 'One In A Billion' which in our opinion is a masterpiece!! One In A Billion really showcases the lyrical talent of the South London rapper which has made him to become the respected artist he is in the Grime scene.

As far as grime mixtapes go 'One In A Billion' goes all out. With a combination of deep tracks like "Crazy World" which looks at the harsh reality of living on the streets and also some live tracks such as "In and Out" which can get any grime supporter gassed!

The mixtape also has plenty of guest appearances from English Frank, Shystie, Jaja Soze, Youngs Teflon and Krept and Konan which only adds to the high quality material of the mixtape. The mixtape also features upcoming artists such as T. Labelle and Muslim Bilal which is nice to see break into the scene.

Something that definitely deserves a mention is the quality of production, the mixtape has 'ard  grimeyy instrumentals from upcoming producers such as Pinero Beats, Rashad, Kimbo Rasheed, Benny Scars, Sunny Productions and MdotE which should be kept on a look out.

End of the day 'One In A Billion' is a BANGER and is definitely a must listen.

KOMEBACK KOKE: K Koke feat. Emeli Sande- Last Train Home

Fresh home, you know K Koke's gonna go 'ard, but who knew he would go this 'aaarrrddd??! The woman of the moment, Emeli Sande blesses the track with her vocals, showing that whether its collaborating with a rapper or singing her own song, she blesses everything her voice touches. This is a good look for both artists and 'cor grimey its a big track! I don't know about you but we're excited. Too excited. If Koke was more mainstream this could definately blow bigger than 'Read All About It'. Can we have both there albums like now please?

It's So Cold In The Streets..

And the 'ardest instrumental of the week most definately goes to 'Premz- The Cold Streets'. I swear I could listen to this instrumental all day long, and Premz bars compliment it. Its definately a song to be playing in your earphones while walking down the road on a cold (typically British) day.

Shawn White- Screwface

Loving the Bricka Bricka appearance at the start. What a badman. Anyways, on to Shawn White. Shawn, perhaps most notably known for his 'No Regrets' cover comes with a screwface (I'm talking about the song of course). It's a fun energetic video, and I think we all know about 'putting our  screwface on'.

'Tryna Get A Range Like An Asian Marriage'

RAH RAH South London Madness! Amplify Dot puts a South London twist to her 'Semantics' collaborator Kano's 'Random Antics'. Its a Grimmmeeyyy one. If you haven't got/heard Amplify Dot's mixtape 'Born Ready' where ya been homie??!

#GrimeyNostalgia 01

OIII NAAAAA, of course we had to rewind to the 'Big Love' days. This was THE SONG back in 2007. I knew, and still know every word to this song. This is what you call a Channel U (No AKA) classic. I know this was only 4 years ago, but Scorcher hasn't aged one millisecond, wagwarn there though? This is the kinda song grime is missing nowadays. UK artists take note, this is how you make a BANGER.

A big bum like Jennifer L, bun that, a big bum like an African girl.

That is all.

Best Of The US

Around 'ere, as you already know, we're Grimey all the way, but that doesn't mean we don't know about US music! So, every week we'll be bringing you our round up of the best music straight from the US of A.

With his album right around the corner and plenty of leaks left right and centre there is no way we could leave out Drake when it comes to the best of the US. What I love about Drake is his ability to almost re-invent himself with every song. Yeah, he wears his heart on his (YMCMB jumper) sleeve and gets waayyy too sensitive when it comes to females but thats why we love him.

Childish Gambino. Never heard of him? Go to a tattoo shop and tattoo his name to the insides of your eye lids. This guy means business. Fans of Tyler, the Creator and his clan Odd Future will most probably love them som Childish, as you can definately see similarities in there bars, flow and peculiar videos. Childish Gambino, also known as Donald Glover (don't bate out my government name bruv) is a man of many talents. Aswell as being a rapper under the alias of Childish Gambino, he is also an actor, writer, comedian, and musician (not just rap). Never the less, this guy is going places. Check out 'Bonfire' below.

If you don't know about Wale please walk yourself over to a mirror and ask yourself 'what am I doing with my life?'. Wale is, and has always been one of the most underrated rappers in the industry. Many may say this is because he talks about real issues (listen to 'Family Affair' if you disagree) and isn't scared to write a song about there skin tone, as discussed in 'Shades' featuring Chrisette Michelle ('I never fit in with them light skins, I felt the lighter they was, the better that they life is') but perhaps the release of his  second album 'Ambition' has slightly changed peoples ignorance towards the rapper that is Wale. One of the deepest and honest songs on the album is the same titled 'Ambition' featuring Meek Mill and Rick Ross (his Mayback Music Group fellows). The word 'ambition' definately aspires itself to Wale. He's stayed true to himself and worked his way up to what he has now. Can we have the next album like now, please?

OH MY! They're different!

With so many upcoming 'girlbands' around now (Ruff Diamondz, Stooshe etc.) you really need to find your own style if you want to be noticed. OH MY! have. With a mixture of retroness (is that a word?), ghettoness (they're words now), electro-popness(oh yeah I went there) and an overall fun vibe, these ladies mean business. Yet again Scrufizzer makes an appearance on an upcoming females song (first Russo, now them, who next Scru?) and as ever, delivers the goods. You can always count on Scrufizzer. Slyly looking like members of The Saturdays (thats DEFINATELY Frankie on the left) and using many uneeded dance moves, they may not be every ones cup of tea, especially people who click the video simply for Scrufizzer but they are a fresh breath of air in a world filled of manufactured girl groups grinding on poles singing soullessly about how much they love there boo (yes, Pussycat Dolls, I'm talking to you)

'One Spliff A Day Keep The Evil Away'

Footsie SMASHES it yet again. His new track '1 Spliff', which samples the laidback 'One Spliff A Day' by Billy Bojo punches you in the face with its aggressive, fast paced tone- everything a grime song should be. Dirtee Stank can do no wrong this year, first releasing the massive Dizzie Rascal featured 'Bluku Bluku' by D Double E, the 'Be Like Me' remix and now this. This is a big movement from Footsie, who's next EP is out next December.

Maverick Sabre - "I Need" - New Machines Remix feat. Chipmunk & Benny Banks OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO

Who knew Maverick could spit?! Behind that beautiful voice he was hiding some pretty 'ard bars. I expect to be seeing a F64 very soon. Yep, its the official video release of Maverick Sabre's remixed 'I Need' with Chipmunk and Benny Banks and boy, did they deliver. The nightmarish echoes of  that 'Game Over' verse are nowhere to be heard as Chipmunk reminds us just why he's such a big name in the game. The dubstep instrumental makes it so much more than just a remix. This is a grime refix. The unlisted video shows three of the UK's leading talents, all in there own respect. It's definately a song to blast at the top of your speakers no matter what time it is. Oh, and welcome back Chipmunk, we missed you.

Since the video's unlisted you can only get to it by a direct link so here you go:

Russo - Laters I'm Off (feat. Scrufizzer)

'Laters I'm off ' is what Russo has to say, but if you think she's going anywhere your most definately wrong. She will definately be making waves (No Sneakbo) this year. The 25 year old Brixton singer, who first came to our Youtube screens with 'Fool' last year shows her vocals at there best; raw, edgy and urban. 'What would a grime version of Elle Varner's I Only Wanna Give It To You (feat. J.Cole) look like' I hear you ask, well this is the closest you will get. Scrufizzers effortless bars compliment the track while the clothes shop setting of the video add to its rawness and authenticity.

Having already toured with Professor Green and being fresh off the release of her debut Mixtape 'Lights Are Off' this girl is definately going places. With features from Dot Rotten, Scrufizzer and Sincere its definately one to download. So keep your eyes peeled on Russo, 'cos her time to blow is getting nearer.

ONE TO WATCH: Benny Banks

Benny Bank's latest offering, in the shape of 'Show Me The Way' shows a deeper, slighly more vulnerable side to the North London rapper. Hailing from Islington, Benny Banks has been making more than a considerable mark in the grime scene the last year.
In his latest music video, Banks talks vivedly on, almost 'taboo' subjects for rappers; he doesn't talk about 'yatts' and 'shubz', instead he lets us in on his deepest thoughts. Banks talks of his daughter ''now my daughter look at daddy like he isn't the same'', his 'road' life ''all i really know is crime cah i did it from day'', all as if saying a prayer to God ''show me how to be good 'cos im tired of pain'' ''Father show me how to be a better father''.

Hipman Junky lends his distinctively British vocals to the song, singing ''show me the way, i'm trying hard to make it, I just want to maintain it, this life I'm tryna change it'' in a beautifully sculpted cockney accent. Hipman Junky shows he too is a major up and coming singer, different to any other 'rivals' he may come across.

This is not the first time Banks has spit about his daughter. In his SBTV Warm Up Session (I'm ashamed to admit the first time I ever heard Benny Banks) he spits candidly about his daughter ''daddy's little angel, she's the reason i'm alive'' and the times where he wasn't around for her ''I remember your first breath but daddy weren't around to remember your first steps, I was in the trap 'til there weren't any work left''. His SBTV Warm Up Session certainly created a well-earned buzz, the video now having over 600,000 view on Youtube (the 18th highest watched video on SBTV's channel)

Another thing about Benny Banks; he KILLS any collaboration he appears on. If Its featuring on a track with Roxxxan ('used to be a little fuck, im a bigger one now'), spitting over the 'In For The Kill' remix or, most recently lending his voice to the remix of Maverick Sabre's 'I Need' with Chipmunk, he always gets it right and reminds us everytime why he is a lyrical force to be reckoned with.

If I still haven't persuaded you of Benny Banks honest, deep, raw lyricism then let his music do the talking for you. His Mixtape 'Patiently Waiting Volume 1' was released in June this year and has recieved critical acclaim for its 17 tracks. With collaborations with artists such as Joe Black and English Frank, it is a grime mixtape NOT to be missed out on.

MISFITS Episode 2 - The Grimey Recap

You know them awkward moments when you turn into the opposite sex at any time? Well this episode is all based on that, the predicament we all find ourselves in. Curtis turns into every bi-sexuals wet dream.

Meet cutis's alter ego, im gonna call her Lesbian Curtis since i cant remember the name he gave her. He/She (I know, its confusing) likes the new white girl.Lets call her white girl number 2 (Kelly will ALWAYS be number 1)

The white girl also likes him and they end up back at Curtis's yard

White girl: Lets have sex Curtis!
Curtis: DPMO put your head in its right position fam

Meanwhile, Kelly still has nice curves, plus she's a rocket scientist which is always a bonus (AND she's wearing Adidas). Everytime I see her I say 'What tha Fook Is Broonch?!' or 'it's the afterbirth you dick!' in my head with her accent. Only me? Ok I'll move on. She spends the episode following a random guy. Fun times.

So white girl tells lesbian Curtis normal Curtis was a crap beat (probably 'cos he just wanted brain). And Curtis feels his whole life is parred and seeks solace in his ex-wifey for lifey Alesha.

Alesha: But bruv you was a shit fuck, you was bare touching your tings without looking at me fam. Some battyboy flexes there.

Lesbian Curtis touches herself innapropriately.

She then touches white girl number 2 innapropriately.

White girl number 2: I'm normally only bi-sexual when drunk and infront of men but i'll make an exception.

If only she knew...

We then go on to the first bocatting scene of the episode.

So Curtis is definately a lesbian.

Good for you bro.

This is weird rapist guy. He likes to drug drinks and give them to young, vulnerable women (or in Curtis's case, men).

You got some issues that need addressing bro.

I would talk about the next scene but the wannabe Nathan is in it (YOU'LL NEVER BE NATHAN FAM GIVE UP) and i always feel the need to flykick him in the throat whenever he's in a scene.

Wannabe Nathan: This is something the scriptwriters would have made Nathan do so im obviously gonna do it *starts bowcatting lesbian Curtis*

White girl number 2 walks in and is bare emotional and ting at lesbian Curtis's betrayal.

White girl number 2: Nahhh fam allow yourself, thats my ting there. DPMO.

Oh yeah, remember weird rapist guy? Well he manages to get Curtis into his Rape-Mobile.

I pray to God that isn't Curtis's actual penis. Anyways this allows Curtis to escape weird rapist guy's car (and hopefully find some underwear and a longer dress)

KELLY'S ON IT. She thinks Simon is cheating on Alesha with lesbian Curtis (like, really?) and doesn't even call her mandem for back up.

Kelly: Ayy blud, you see you yeah, don't think I won't give you the one bang bruv. I'm a fookin' Rocket scientist so its baaarree easy for me to hide your body afterwards. Simon's Aleshas ting fam, low yourself and your picky hair.

White girl number 2 comes in and gives lesbian Curtis the one bang (Kelly celebrates and congratulates her gyaldem) for 'cheating' on her with wannabe Nathan *sigh*

Kelly: Urm darling, I think someone needs a jumbo tampon.

I don't think anything needs to be said in this scene.

Weird white guy tries to strike again with white girl number 2 but Curtis saves the day. Well done, Curtis *pats head*

Curtis decides he has to come clean about his female alter-ego and so explains his situation. Being bi-sexual (no trend) white girl number 2 is obviously over the moon about getting to choose who she gets to have sex with (Monday- Curtis, Tuesday- Lesbian Curtis?)

White girl number 2: Ahh im bare happs and ting, i get to bocatt AND be bocatted *does happy dance*

And so we end with wannabe Nathan telling everyone about his, urm oral adventures into lesbian Curtis's box.

Wannabe Nathan: *says something intended for Nathan to say 'cos he's such a beg*

And thats it for this week folks, Keep locked in every week for the Misfits Grimey Recap.
